Colour: Light honey with green tints
Bouquet: Deep, complex and savoury, with delightful combination of lemon (Semillon component) and lemon rind aromas and a touch of gunflint
Palate: Delicious rich lemon and sherbet flavours fill out the middle palate. A great and long acid finish completes a very satisfying and moorish wine
Cellaring: Up to 10 years
Food: Scallops, crabs, prawns and all fish dishes and mild Asian food

The 2007 Cullen Mangan Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is one of the classiest and priciest, retailing at $35. Pale, almost white in colour, this wine shows aromas of baby pea shoots, passionfruit, lemon and fresh straw on the nose, with just a hint of smokiness, which is result of a 32 per cent new oak influence. On the palate, the wine is spicy, crisp and balanced. It has a creamy, mid-palate texture from the Semillon and also from a wild yeast ferment. And it has terrific length. Mouth-wateringly delicious
