Rob Broadfield rates Cullen Wines Restaurant – ‘Something wonderful.’

MarronRob Broadfield, food critic for The West Australian gives a glowing review for the Cullen Restuarant in Wilyabrup and it’s new Executive Chef. “Vanya Cullen is a national treasure and one of the finest winemakers in the country. As a hospitality operator, she was well ahead of the Scando-forager curve with the Cullen dining room departing from the accepted norms late last century, cooking with produce from its own kitchen garden, honey from its own hives and proteins from local bespoke growers and suppliers. This is all very chi-chi now, but in the late 90’s it was fringe stuff.”
