February 11th marks what would have been the 95th birthday of Margaret River wine pioneer Diana Cullen. From her roots in Tasmania, she made Margaret River her home in the late 40’s when she and husband Dr Kevin Cullen moved to Margaret River not long after the birth of their first son, Rick.
Diana was a woman who was universally admired; she has been described as elegant, tenacious, hard working and exceptionally clever and resourceful.
In her honour, Vanya Cullen will be hosting a lunch featuring a stunning wine matched menu prepared by Executive Chef Iain Robertson. Enjoy the yet to be released 2016 Diana Madeline, the 2016 Kevin John and the 2011 Diana Madeline (rated 98 points, Tyson Stelzer) amongst other special selections.
