October 16th 2017 – Cullen Wines Restaurant wins Two Chef Hat rating from the 2018 Good Food Guide. One of only two restaurants in Western Australia to receive this coveted accolade.
Cullen Wines was the first winery in Margaret River to offer visitors a taste of local fare with their wines, as far back as 1976, when the family put together simple cheese platters, pastries and soups to welcome their visitors. The tradition of welcoming guests from all over the world with fine wine and pure local fare continues today, and the reputation Cullen has for producing exquisite food has grown.
Fruit, herbs, vegetables and ‘bush tucker’ is nurtured in the extensive biodynamic garden on the grounds, and our chefs can often seen dashing from the kitchen to select the freshest of ingredients straight from the garden. The highly experienced Kitchen Team are led by Executive Chef Iain Robertson, and together they create awe inspiring dishes that combine the simplest of biodynamic, local and organic ingredients to produce dishes that complement our wines perfectly, and stay with you long after you have left Wilyabrup.

Cullen Wines Restaurant open from 10am to 4pm, Friday to Tuesday.
The full lunch menu is available from 11:30am to 3pm, with cheese and desserts until 3.30pm.

“It was lovely to experience the Cullen winery last Thursday.Please pass on my appreciation and thanks to Nicolas for a fantastic tour & tasting of your winery at Cullen. Just walking through the vineyard and seeing the vines, as well as your organic garden, was truly an experience. The Cullen winery is so immaculately groomed and maintained, itis no wonder that your wines are so delicious, especially Diana Madeline, which is my favourite Cabernet. As Cullen is only approximately forty years old, the region itself and Cullen will only become even more exceptional.

I was bowled over by the barramundi and Pemberton maron – it was perfect in every way – the crisp skin, the perfectly cooked fish, the delicate yet robust texture of the marron, the tomato saute – and the rose was a sophisticated touch to a late lunch.
