Earth Day Sunset imageCullen Wines strives to be an environmentally conscious company in everything we do. It’s well known by many that for years we have been 100% carbon neutral – not just in our winery, but throughout the entire estate, including our restaurant, cellar door, gardens and all of our production and bottling. What may not be as well known is that we are naturally powered, mostly by the large solar panels on our roof, but also supplemented through the purchase of additional power from the Albany wind farms. We are water self sufficient and believe in minimal intervention with our vines, allowing us to work with nature, rather than control it.

Being fully biodynamic, it is important to us to respect and nurture the earth that repays us with the beautiful wines, garden produce, olives, olive oil and fresh honey that we produce.

Earth Day, now in its 46th year is a way to raise awareness of environmental issues and also reminds us to celebrate what we are striving to achieve.

We’d like to give back a little more this year, and so we’ve put together our special ‘Earth Pack’ – a mixed dozen of Cullen Wines featuring our 2014 Amber, our 2014 Mangan Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and our 2013 Mangan East Block.

For every Earth Pack mixed dozen sold, Cullen Wines will donate part of the profits towards planting more trees to help the environment.
