2020 Legacy Series Malbec New Moon Flower Day
2020 was a vintage where small berry size and warm dry conditions made for concentrated elegant wines of place. The 2020 legacy flower day new Moon is no exception. Malbec from certified biodynamic Mangan vineyard, planted in 1995 was hand harvested on a new Moon flower day in February, before being destemmed into a 300 litre clay amphora for natural fermentation to take place. Pressed after 101 days on skins on a biodynamic flower day followed by 6 months in a one year old puncheon. It was hand bottled on a fruit day in late December 2020. Only 50 dozen made.
