Summer Garden Update 2020

The dry warm Spring this year has lead into a hot start to Summer, bringing warmth to the soils and good fruit development in the vineyard. Our Old English Mulberries are draped in their green shaded leaves and are heavy in green fruit that is turning pink already. Tomatoes, zucchinis, button squash, corn, beans, eggplant, paprika and cucumbers are growing vigorously. Beetroots, carrots fennel, leaks and nettle are still being harvested. Sunflowers are growing across the property and will bring a splash of bright yellow colour and lots of food for our bees.

Beetroot, carrots baby leeks, fennel, beans, zucchini, squash, salad greens, soft herbs, citrus, paprika.
