2016 Mangan East Block Magnum
The grapes were harvested from the prime selections of the eastern blocks of the Mangan vineyard. Excellent growing season with good spring rains.

This vintage is a blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Petit Verdot. It was naturally fermented, basket pressed and then matured for 7 months in equal portions of new and seasoned French oak.

2014 Kevin John Legacy Series Fruit Barrel Chardonnay
Harvested on a Fruit Day, whole bunch pressed and aged in Biodnamic Fruit Barrels giving full fruit flavour and character. The wines have not been fined or filtered and were bottles straight from barrel.

This parcel of Chardonnay was harvested on the New Moon, Flower Day, whole bunch pressed into Flower Barrels (barrels harvested and coopered on a Flower Day)

2014 Kevin John Legacy Series Flower Barrel Chardonnay
Whole bunch pressed and fermented with wild yeast in Flower Day Barrels. The oak was harvested and coopered on a Flower Day according to the biodynamic calendar. We find this gives the wine a more minerality and line.

2012 Cullen Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 1.5L Magnum
As usual, this blend contains a greater volume of Sauvignon Blanc than Semillon, which reflects the outstanding qualities of the fruit produced by the former variety on the Cullen Vineyard, while recognising that it can still be enhanced by the complimentary characteristics of the latter variety. The fruit was picked at optimal ripeness, which was represented by Baume’s of only 9.6° – 11.9°, resulting in the highly desirable production of an alcohol concentration of only 10.9%. Complexity and completeness have been enhanced through maturing a substantial component of the wine in new oak.

2018 New Moon
The fruit was picked on a new moon in early February 2018 hence the name of the wine. It is a “pétillant naturel” based on the méthode ancestrale.

Chenin Blanc was planted on the Cullen Vineyard Estate in 1976 which is a certified Biodynamic, Carbon Neutral and naturally powered estate.
