2020 Mangan Vineyard Red Moon
This wine is a blend of 52% malbec, 38% petit verdot and 10 % merlot, all grown on Mangan Vineyard. It has had no fining and has spent 7 months in 15% new oak. Hand harvested and naturally fermented, it is a wine which reflects the land where it is grown.

Harvest Dates: 19th February to 9th March on fruit days including a super Moon perigee, plus a new Moon flower day.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep purple, mulberry.
Cellar: Enjoy now or for up to 20 years.
Bouquet: Dense ripe mulberry pie with chocolate crème and thyme trimmings. Mineral ironstone base notes.
Food: Lamb or pork roast with root vegetables.
Palate: Cherry, mulberry, dusty rose and chocolate, with an abundance of tannins moving across the palate to a textural silky finish.
